Happy Friday, friends! As I’ve watched my business grow and change over the last couple years, so, too, have my priorities. In particular, I’m often on the hunt for new tools that will increase my productivity (and let’s be honest, happiness). I’ve got a fun one to share today that I’ve been using in a lot of different ways — it’s called the Lenovo YOGA 3 Pro. And yes, we became instant BFFs as soon as I found out its name was Yoga. 😉

So, I like to work at coffee shops a couple days a week and now that I live in LA, it’s easy to walk to shops in my area. This computer is very, very thin and lightweight, so it’s really convenient to tote around town with me. I also dig that it has different “modes.” You could use it as a standard laptop or you can bend it into a tablet or “tent.” I’ve never seen a computer like this, so I was a little wide-eyed while I tested out the different modes. Haha! It’s pretty darn cool.

The tent mode (above) is neat if you need to give presentations or want to show someone a graphic without the keyboard in the way. I’ve found this to be an awesome tool when working with clients in person, since it feels like we’re staring at a mini TV or projection screen. It feels more professional to me than using a standard laptop. I can just hear the computer saying, “I WAS BORN FOR THIS, YO.” Computers talk to me sometimes. It’s weird.

Since this Lenovo is touch-screen, the tablet mode has been beyond awesome for creating my own graphics and art directly onto the screen. Normally, I’d need to hook up a separate pen tablet to my computer and use it that way, but with this computer I can use my finger to draw on the screen, which works well for my hand-lettered, messy style of art. 🙂

It also comes in three colors: clementine orange, brushed gold, and light silver, but I got gold because #priorities.

Quick tip? In the photo below I’m scrolling through my Instagram photos to see which ones people enjoyed the most. Then, based on that research, I made a list of ideas to hone my feed to what my audience responds to best. Try it!
