Hi friends! It’s almost Friday and I’m pretty excited, can you tell? Today marks at least the third time I’ve danced in a style post — my way of relieving the awkwardness of being a wannabeĀ model for 20 minutes. I’m getting pretty good at dancing with myself, but then again I’m no stranger to busting a move when I’m home alone. It’s very likely that MonjaĀ now thinks all humans are insane. Or maybe just me. You’ll have to ask him.
Anywho, I paired this flowy (and super soft!) polka dot skirt with one of my ol’ favorite business shirts. I also am pretty in love with these cut-out oxfords and will probably end up buying more! They’re super comfy.
I brought Monja along because I clearly can’t spend an hour away from him. That was supposed to be a joke, but come to think of it, I went to a drive-in movie theatre a fewĀ days ago and Monja came along, too. I didn’t know drive-in theaters were still a thing, butĀ I’m glad they are because it was really fun!Ā We just put the back seats down and turned the car into a little hang-out spot. I didn’t know how Monja would act, especially since you’re supposed to watch two movies in a row, but he just sat at our feet and slept. Sometimes it looked like he was watching, too, because he’d stare at the screen — it wasĀ seriously adorable.
Now back to this photo — we were having a moment, can you tell?
My friend Naadine over at Great Over Good took these photos because she’s kind of the best. IĀ love this gallery wall in her studio!
