Hey everyone! Okay so I might have sort of fibbed in the title of this post. These people aren’t experts on gratitude, persay, but they are some of my sponsors! Though, I think us regular ol’ people are experts on gratitude in our own ways. I asked these ladies several questions about gratitude and thankfulness and I absolutely love the stories, sentiments, and personal info they shared with all of us. If you like what they have to say, then clicking their name or pictures will take you to their blogs. Happy friend-making, y’all! 🙂

How do you show your gratitude to other people?
I show my gratitude by acknowledging how blessed I and others around me are, and maintaining a positive attitude, even through discouraging times. I have so much to be thankful for, that when things don’t go my way, it is easy to lose perspective. But given how many things i have to be thankful for, it seems silly to let a minor disappointment spoil my attitude. – Rachel of With Love, Rachel
What is a challenge you’ve experienced that you’re thankful for?
The year of 2013 was a challenge for me. I started having panic attacks in December of last year and by the end of January 2013 I sought treatment for it. It was crazy hard admitting I needed help but it was the most courageous thing I’ve ever done. I’ve been in individual counseling since and I’ve learned SO much about myself. I never thought I’d say this but I’m so thankful that I started having panic attacks. I’ve never gone through something so scary and to know that I’ve faced issues and come out stronger is a huge confidence boost. I’ve learned so much about myself — so much– and I’m truly a happier person because of this challenge that was put before me. – Codi of The Art of Balance
Working for myself and running my own business. It’s been the biggest learning curve but I have grown so much more by managing my own schedule. Every struggle has taught me something new and I am grateful for these experiences. – Jessica of Cardelucci
What are three things you’re grateful for about 2013?
I am grateful for my job and a boss that truly is amazing.. She is really trying to help me move up in my company and I just love that. I am also grateful for my wonderful family who is so supportive and just generally loving. And, of course, I am grateful to have found my 2nd half – Jeremy. I can’t wait to marry this guy in June! – Kristyn of Chits and Giggles
In 10 words or less: what is gratitude to you?
Appreciating the extraordinary along with the mundane in your life. – Chelsea of Lost in Travels
Intentionally remembering that everything is a God given gift. – Beka of Sunshine to the Square Inch

This is great and a real inspiration for my mini series “The Gratitude List”. I loved Chelsea’s 10 words or less definition! It hit the spot perfectly!

Thanks Jessika! And I agree — her definition is perfect!
I loved hearing everyone’s take on gratitude, especially the challenges. this post makes me think of all I have to be grateful for in my own life, a reminder I needed today, so thanks 🙂
I’m glad it could remind you of that, Jamie! 🙂 I agree — my favorite question to read the answers to was the one about challenges. Everyone had such wonderful responses!
Beautiful post! I enjoyed reading everyone’s input; even if sharing a bit of themselves or admitting faults is hard.
Thank you Tamara! I agree — they all have such gorgeous things to say.
I’m so excited to have been a part of this group! It was really interesting to see everyone elses input on these questions!
