Hey loves! I am stoked to be sharing my brand new website today — a marketplace of ecourses and workshops for bloggers and entrepreneurs. WOO! I decided to create this new site in order to make it easier for the both of us. See, my previous ecourse platform was difficult for me to build and harder for my students to navigate. Now, everything is so darn easy and beautiful that I just want to throw confetti everywhere (so long as someone with a vacuum is right behind me because we all know how defiant confetti can be 😉 ). Here’s a glimpse of the course website homepage:
Jazz hands picture of me, included.
And here’s a little behind-the-scenes peek at the inside of one of my courses, Pinfinite Growth. I seriously swoon for how easy it is to navigate and watch each of the module videos.

A few things I love about this new course site:
- It takes me a ridiculously shorter amount of time to put together a private website when I want to launch a new course or workshop. This is so motivating to me because I no longer have to worry about the dreaded tech stuff.
- It’s crazy easy for my students to navigate through the courses. Plus, if they’re enrolled in multiple courses, they can view all of them on the “My Courses” page without having to log in and out of different sites.
- There’s an affiliate program integrated into it! My students have been asking me if I would be creating an affiliate program and I kept putting it off because it was another thing I needed to learn how to do. On this website, I can activate the program for students with the click of a button and it automatically pays them for me — so.darn.easy.
Want a tour (and behind the scenes peek)?
I made a little video for you so that you can actually see what I love about the site. I’m also giving you a tour of my biggest course, Pinfinite Growth. Woohoo!
By the way, with the launch of my new website also came the launch of a new workshop! This workshop is called BrandBoss and it’s designed to help you build a recognizable, consistent, and trustworthy brand. We will be digging deep into your brand’s purpose and audience, creating a visual look for your brand, and diving into Photoshop (for beginners!).

In the online world, topics like “marketing” and “email lists” seem to be all the rage. But giiiiiirl, I can tell you that if your branding is a hot mess, it’s going to be a heck of a lot harder to grow a profitable and trustworthy blog or online business. Here’s what you can expect from this 3-part live, online workshop:
In part 1, we’re deep-divin’ into your brand’s purpose, audience, goals, and more, so that we can understand your blog or business on the inside and make sure that your brand aligns with who you are.
In part 2, we’re taking all that inner goodness and creating a strategic and cohesive plan for your brand, including the selection of your fonts and colors, writing style, photography, and more. We’ll also be dissecting brands that are doing it right so that you walk away with actionable suggestions.
Finally, in part 3, I’m showing you exactly how to design the most important aspects of your brand right in Photoshop. Don’t worry, this tutorial is perfect for beginners! I’ll be teaching you how to edit photos beautifully, create Pinterest graphics, customize your social media icons, and more!
By the end of BrandBoss, you’ll walk away with a pile of inspiration, actionable advice, and an authentic plan to create a brand that stands out and grows your blog or online business.
I’d love to know what you all think of the new site! Thanks for being here friends. Have a freakin’ awesome day.

Site looks amazing! Really nice job. What CMS are you using to run that site? Doesnt look like WordPress..
Thank you so much! It’s a platform called Fedora. 🙂
Melyssa, this is gorgeous. I love how you designed it with all your bright colors, and that new picture of you…Those spirit fingers are IT 🙂 I’m a fan of the same platform (I actually opened up my own today!) and I think it’s perfect for you, especially with the business switch you have made. *Cheers!* Congratulations!! <3
Oh Tishana, thank you so much for this sweet comment. Glad you like the spirit fingers, too (always appropriate, yes? ;)). I appreciate you!
So excited about your new course site, it looks so amazing! It looked great before but I love how it’s becoming a consistent school now for all the courses I know you’ll offer in the future 😉 I’m also using Fedora for my own course site, I love it as both a student and teacher, it’s a great experience!
So glad you like the new site, Monica (and also that you liked the old one and it wasn’t a total mess — haha!). That’s awesome that you use it for your own course site, too. Isn’t it the best?
This is so exciting! Congratulations Melyssa. You’re a star!!!!
Thank you so much, Noor! I so appreciate that. 🙂
This is great and congrats on your new course! I love the topic of branding and strategy, it was one of my faves in business school!

Thank you Annie! I really appreciate your support. 🙂
Congrats! I just processed a refund for the old software and made a switch to Fedora. 🙂 Thanks so much for this post + the Periscope. xo
Woohooooo! So excited for your, Kimberly. Fedora (now Teachable) is freakin’ awesome.
I love using the new site for Pinfinite Growth! Since right now is my busy season and I can’t watch it all in one sitting like I want to do, it’s so helpful to be able to check off each module as I complete them!
So happy that you like it, Stacia! That’s one of my favorite features too because I’m always popping in and out of courses. 🙂
Congrats on the launch, lady! It looks beautiful and vibrant and very Nectar Collective! ♥
Thank you so much, Jackie! 🙂
so proud of you!!! I am loving it all and saving my money to buy all your courses!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much, Elizabeth! You are seriously the sweetest 🙂
This looks awesome Mel! I’m assuming you used lead pages to create the site? I love how user friendly the courses look!
Thank you so much, Cat! I used a course platform called Teachable to create the site. So glad you like it!
I´m a PG student and just loveee the new site!! I´ve been taking a look at the teachable plans and i was curious about which one you have. Their commission seams to be a bit high.. is it really worth it from a business point of view? (for the student side just seems perfect!)
Hi Laura! I’m SO excited to hear that you love the new site. Thank you! I am on the High Volume plan, which is a high monthly fee, but no additional fees are taken out. This ended up being the most cost effective plan for me. I would consider how much money you expect to make from your course each month based on individual sales and then do the math to see which plan is the cheapest. If you’re not sure yet, then I would start with the first or second plan.
I was worried about the cost and high fees, too, which is why I started on another platform. But now that I’ve been using Teachable, I can honestly say that it is SO worth it and I love the ease of creating course and especially the way it looks to my students. It also has awesome things built into it like sales pages and an affiliate program for students. It’s amazing!
It looks great! Very easy to use. I am also a PG student. The only thing its missing is if there was a forum that PG students could use to communicate through. I know there is the facebook group but i I dislike using facebook. Sorry I don’t mean to be picky, I’m very happy with the course, but would love a forum 🙂
Thank you for that feedback, Jenna! A majority of the PG students are in the FB group, but adding a forum is definitely something to consider for the future. 🙂
