When I’m not writing this blog or buried in design work, you can often find me in the deep rabbit hole of The Internet, blacking out from website overload and trying my best to avoid Buzzfeed. When I find something especially noteworthy, I usually share it on The Nectar Collective’s Facebook page, but sometimes The Internet pulls me in too deep to do anything aside from mindless clicking. Today, my friends, I thought I’d share some of my favorite recent links from around the web, so you can browse The Internet responsibly (and maybe find some cool things to read).
I know I mentioned that I try to avoid Buzzfeed, but I couldn’t help but love this article on two friends who create incredible chalkboard masterpieces, anonymously.

Alicia of Jaybird
I love Alicia’s blog because it’s kind, useful, and relevant. She has the sort of heart-hitting posts that make you think, like her Love Your Body Resolution and When Positivity Makes You Think. She’s also got some out-of-the-box tips and tutorials, like her Guide to Being Alone and Old School Productivity Tips. Basically, you can tell that Alicia is both creative and utterly invested in your growth and happiness. I’m pretty sure Alicia and I (and you!) would get along swimmingly. š Go check her out!

Jackie of Jade and Oak
Jackie is the ever-adorable fur mama to two pugs (and also the editor of a lovely blog, but pugs are most important here, right?). She shares a medley of posts, like this “recipeasy”Ā for sushi (making this asap) and this one about why ballet is good for you. She also has some creative blogging-related posts, like Reasons Why I Love a Blog (appreciated that one!) and What I’ve Learned From Blogging. But if you’re as obsessed with her pugs as I am, you might want to start here. š Go send her some love! š
