Hello buddies! It’s been a LONG while (like, oh, three months) since I’ve shared any of the graphic design work that I’ve been doing, so I thought it would be fun to share some recent design projects with you today! I’ve been having a blast with my clients lately and really adore the modern, feminine, and fun designs we’ve been coming up with together. Check out a few of my favorite, recent projects below! Click the images to view the full design on their blogs. š
I also changed up the name and branding for my own design studio in an effort to simplify, make the aesthetic more my style, and prepare for the paper goods and home decor shop I plan to open within the next couple months. Woop woop! Previously, my design studio was called Bumble + Buzz Design, but there was something about the name I never quite liked and as I prepared branding materials for my new paper goods and home decor shop (which will be under the same name/brand), I decided to do a complete branding overhaul and change the name to Bumble Design Studio. Bumble, for short. I’m loving this new name and look for my site — I hope you do, too! š The site still needs a few changes (like the “raves” page!), but overall I really dig the bright, clean, slightly colorful, and modern aesthetic we’ve got goin’ on these days. Pop on over and see for yourself!Ā If you’re interested in re-designing your own blog, website, or logo, I have a couple spots left for the end of February. Let’s talk — get in touch. š Now, onto some of my recent design projects!
XO, Lauren & Jane //Ā These ladies were a dream to work with! They wanted something modern, simple, and slightly feminine and I absolutely love what we cameĀ up with. Simple, but not boring — ya feel me? They literally just started their blog, but with their drive and wealth of fun ideas, I know it’s going to be a major success.
White Stag Boulevard //Ā Jessica is a super sweet fashion blogger and I LOVE her sense of style. She combines bright colors and patterns with simple, modern styles — I just love it! My favorite parts of her design are her connected navigation bar and the galleries for her “beauty” and “fashion” sections. Click ’em and see what I mean!
Living Your Creative //Ā Amber is such a sweetheart — she even sent me this ridiculously kind “Small Business Survival Kit,” filled with her handmade crafts, yummy teas, and DIY supplies. Ain’t she just the best? I’m so happy that I got to connect with Amber — she really is just a great person. She has also been doing a killer job with her new blog and filling it with all kinds of fun crafts and DIY projects! Like White Stag Boulevard, Amber’s blog has galleries for each of her categories. Click around and see them in action — makes things so organized andĀ easy to find. š
Casey of True Colours
Casey, from the sweetly named blog, True Colours, is one of my go-to travel bloggers. For starters, she’s a third-culture kid, so she comes with an open-minded and unique world-perspective. She’s lived in several places around the world (even Saudi Arabia!) and has a knack for gorgeous travel photos. One of my favorite posts on her blog has got to be this one, about what travel teaches us (such beautiful lessons!). And in this poignant and inspiring series, The Truth About Travel, Casey shares many of the things we want to voice, but may not know how. She even shares practical travel tips, like taking advantage of new technologies in travel and which credit cards will score you the most travel points. Besides being a world-class adventurer, Casey is also an interior designer! She’s kind of a package deal, y’all. Go give her some love!
